Tips for creating a quality profile for your organization

  • Use an inviting and descriptive overview.
  • Briefly describe what your organization seeks to do, its values, organizational culture, and any skills or traits you seek in candidates, etc.
  • Include a listing of your organization's benefits and any additional perks of working for your organization.
  • Of course, you can always contact us to learn more about what current students are seeking in an employer!

Create a job post

As you create a job posting, try to use a job title that makes the position clear to the student. For example, if the name of the position at your organization is “Accountant I,” consider posting “Entry Level Accountant.”

In addition, consider listing the required qualifications for the position, but do so in a way that is also clear to candidates. For example, if you indicate that the job requires a major or degree in business, candidates will assume only those with a business major or degree are eligible to apply. This will exclude any other applicants you might consider with a different major if they meet all other qualifications. If you need assistance, just let us know. We are happy to help!
