Engage Employer Partner Program
Employers recruiting Illinois State students are provided recruitment strategies customized to the needs of their organizations. The Engage Employer Partner Program provides an exclusive opportunity for employers to connect with Redbirds to enhance student career readiness.
In addition, Engage members have an opportunity to brand their organization in one of the Career Services’ huddle rooms located on the second floor of the Bone Student Center. This benefit allows employers to utilize the space to build awareness of their organization. Other career readiness opportunities included participation in equity, diversity, and inclusion events, career fairs, and participation in Engage Employer Council meetings.
Thank you
to the members of our 2023-2024 Engage Employer Partner Program for your continued support of Career Services.
"Being an Engage Partner with Career Services at Illinois State has contributed to our organization hiring a strong number of talented students. Their career fairs have been well attended with students being prepared, professional, and speaking confidently about themselves. Career Services presents great programs to address the needs and wants of their students and does a wonderful job involving employers to assist. I value the relationship with the leaders and members of Career Services from proposing a new program or their support in sharing our company’s opportunities, to having a professional workspace to use when on-campus."
—Monia Hood, talent acquisition manager at Enterprise
"Cintas is a proud Engage partner with Illinois State University Career Services. From the personalized experiences we receive through the staff, the ability to connect with students of all majors, and the opportunity to support events from DEI, career readiness, and résumé reviews, we have found our partnership to be one which drives our success. We have proud alumni from recent graduates in our Management Trainee Program to our national director of DEI and Management Programs who proudly wear their Redbird pride. We are confident our partnership with Illinois State will thrive for years to come!"
—Dori Eppenstein, campus talent acquisition manager at Cintas
“I knew I was interested in business, but like a lot of college students, I didn’t really know where to start looking for a job. As a college financial representative intern with Northwestern Mutual, I was able to experience business. Now, having hands-on experience in human resources as a talent acquisition intern, I know this is still the career I want to pursue. Both internships aided me in growing personally and professionally.” —Hannah Baker ’24
“I worked as a human resources intern for the City of Bloomington for three months and have been interviewing for full-time jobs for two months. Last week I accepted a full-time position with the Bloomington City Clerk’s office and couldn’t be more excited to continue working here!” —Paige Mallory ’24
