Birds Give Back: LGBTQ+ Student Support Fund
In February 2025, during Birds Give Back, Queer Coalition helped raise an astonishing $36,055 for the LGBTQ+ Student Support Fund, exceeding this year's fundraising goal by $6,055, and last year's total by $13,525. This fund also had more unique donors and total dollars raised than any other fund promoted by the Division of Student Affairs.
The funds raised will provide students with emergency financial assistance, fund scholarships, and support educational programming related to LGBTQ+ topics. Thank you to everyone who donated—each and every dollar makes a real difference in the lives of our Redbirds.
Through fundraising, advocacy, programming and more, we hope to support queer faculty, staff, and students at ISU for many years to come!
