Students arrive at Illinois State University with aspirations to explore their potential, deepen their knowledge, and achieve their goals. Career Services is committed to supporting them at every stage of their career development journey, whether they are undergraduates discerning their paths or graduates with defined objectives. Our approach, guided by national data and evidence-based practices from the National Association of Colleges and Employers, ensures that our Redbirds receive individualized support to navigate their professional growth with confidence.

We are proud to present a few highlights from the 2024–25 academic year. Our partnerships with educators, employers, and institutional collaborators enrich student experiences, expand professional opportunities, and invest in early career talent, leading to successful outcomes.

To celebrate our shared responsibility, we introduced the Commitment to Career Excellence Awards, receiving 53 nominations across categories like Employer of the Year, Internship Coordinator of the Year, and Career Champion of the Year. We look forward to showcasing many more shared accomplishments.
