Housing at Illinois State University
Exchange students at Illinois State University have the option of living on or off campus. Students wishing to live on campus must apply through the University Housing and Dining Portal. Because of limited on-campus housing, students are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible after confirmation. Students wishing to live off campus will need to work with a private leasing agency or renter to secure a space. Information and resources about off-campus housing can be found through the Off-Campus Services section of Dean of Students website.
Important: If you do not wish to live in the Fell-School Street Apartments, please email Matt Schwab prior to your arrival at mlschwa@IllinoisState.edu.
If you do not reach out to Matt, we will assume you are planning to stay in the Fell-School Street Apartments, and on-campus housing charges will be added to your student account.
